Why stage in a slow moving market?
In a slow-moving market when homes take longer to sell staging your listing is critical to ensure your listing stands out from the crowd. When supply exceeds demand, staged listings will encourage more online interest, more viewings and ultimately more offers than your local competition. Your home may not sell as quickly in slow market but it will typically sell quicker than an un-staged home.
Why should I hire a Professional Stager?
Whether a property is vacant or occupied, staging is a wise investment but preparing a property ready for sale takes effort and above all training. A Certified Staging Professional® is trained to help the seller realize and secure the most equity possible. The designation offers quantifiable evidence of education and training and our skills and abilities have been validated by third party industry experts. We recommend you don’t trust your listing to someone not trained to support and help you.
Is Stage & Prosper LLC insured?
Yes, we carry $2m of aggregate liability insurance cover. Please note: the contents of a staged home when it is on the market is the homeowner’s responsibility.
When should I stage my home?
Always stage your home before it is listed. It is crucial your listing looks its best in print and on-line from the moment it hits MLS, this will ensure it makes it onto a buyer’s “must-see’ list and receives more foot traffic. A well-staged, professionally photographed listing will set the stage for a successful sale.
Should I stage the exterior of my home?
Absolutely! Great curb appeal sells more than half the houses that go on the market so presenting the exterior of your home in its best light is key to success. We can show you how.
How long will it take to stage my home?
The Staging process will depend on the requirements and size of the property and whether the property is being staged for sale or rent. Typically we require 3 business days to schedule occupied consultations and 5 business days to schedule vacant stages. An occupied consultation will take 2-3 hours. A vacant stage typically takes a day. Our currently booked jobs will determine our availability. Prior to your signing of the contract we agree a deadline for the work to be completed and ready for market.
